Maya Sullivan, J.D.
President
Maya Sullivan is a proud alum of Tennessee State University, where she received her B.S. in Political Science with University Honors in 1999. She received her J.D. from Hamline University School of Law (Mitchell Hamline).
Maya currently serves as Associate Vice President for Student Success at Metro State University where she provides direct and strategic leadership to several student service areas and has led development and implementation of key initiatives for student support, policies and procedures. She also provides education on and investigates bias related issues. Maya previously practiced law, representing clients with many needs.
Brian A. McCoy
Vice President
Brian A. McCoy earned his Bachelor's Degree & Master of Public Administration (MPA) from Jackson State University in 2010 & 2014, providing him with a foundation in policy analysis and public sector management. He currently serves as a Project Selection Coordinator in The Office of Transportation System Management (OTSM) at the Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT), where he specializes in state-wide policy implementation, program compliance, and strategic legislative engagement.


Kiara Davis

Kiara Davis is a graduate of Hampton University, class of 2021, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Strategic Communications.
Aria Sanders

Aria Sanders is a proud Langston University Class of 2021 alumna, currently serving as the Recording Secretary for MN HBCU Alumni. She looks forward to supporting our alumni community and brings experience as a Business Administration Manager and nonprofit operations consultant.

Ase! I'm Tizon Harris, a mathematically grounded and engineering-driven professional with a B.S. in Mathematics from Tougaloo College and MEng graduate in Mechanical & Structural Engineering at Dartmouth College.

Sherriet Campbell is a very proud alumna of Florida A&M University, class of 1983, where she studied at the School of Business and Industry.


Nicole Green

Nicole Green is a 1996 graduate of North Carolina A&T State University. She earned a B.S. in Accounting and currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer and Deputy Director of the City of St. Paul-Planning and Economic Department. She and her husband, John, live with their 3 children in Brooklyn Park.
Keshuna McCoy
Parliamentarian
Keshuna McCoy is a committed public servant leader from Jackson, Mississippi. She is a 2011 Cum Laude graduate of THEE Jackson State University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. She later completed a Master of Public Administration at Belhaven University in Jackson, MS. She currently serves as a public servant with the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development, where she oversees several child care economic development programs and works closely with statewide child care stakeholders.
